About

REAP was registered as an incorporated association in 2001, having previously operated as Catholic Education Assistance Programme (CEAP). REAP is an associate body of the Southern African Catholic Bishops' Conference (SACBC) but assists all young people regardless of faith or affiliation. REAP acquired Level 1 BEE status in 2008. We are registered as a non-profit organisation in South Africa and we have tax exemption status. Donations are therefore exempt from tax.

REAP is a national programme with its head office in Cape Town and a regional office in Johannesburg. We aim to open further offices in Kwa-Zulu Natal, Eastern Cape, Free State and Limpopo within the next few years. We currently have a team of 20 staff members and a wide network of recruitment volunteers throughout South Africa.
